.- Responsible to commercial support to customers in Colombia, for ITT products including, Bornemann (Twin Screw & PCP), Goulds Pumps (Centrifugal) and Rheinhutte Pumps (Centrifugal) aftermarket and service. This position involves all products with Contractors and End User customers in Colombia.

b.- Support to prepare and manage competitive quotations for high, medium and low specification requirements on time, meeting customer specifications and following the requirements of our legal and commercial T&C.

c.- Follow up and keep undated database of opportunities for Colombia market, as well as support all orders development with local and factory contract administrators.

d.- Keep up dated account plans VBCE and GDP.

e.- Participate actively in all business for ITT with related customers, supporting all peers for other products in ITT GPC.

• To manage orders and sales annual budget for Colombia, defending margin required for products and parts assigned.
• Manage competitive, on time, high quality and technical compliance proposals following requirements of T&C.
• To lead and supervise quotations prepared by Application Engineers or proposals prepared at factory.
• To support customer in develop specifications for new projects and follow these opportunities in all phases of development until get the order for our company.
• Keep updated and with high quality information for company management such us: VBCE, GDP, EQL, weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Be updated and permanent study about new products or technologies, improvements, upgrades and modifications.
• Understand very well objections in every business in order to control and go to close effectively every purchase order. Lead and participate in every kick of meeting for every project.
• To clear and enter every order to local operations or factory, depending on incoterms negotiated.
• Establish net working with contractors and engineering companies.
• Establish close relations with suppliers to have competitive prices and services.
• Know and understand IP-500 Commercial Guidelines

• All other responsibilities related with new equipment, parts and service effective performance, to improve business in area assigned.
• Administrate budget of expenses assigned very well, in accordance with all company policies.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering degree with minimum five years of work experience preferred.
• Minimum experience in similar positions of three - five (3-5) years.
• Knowledge of rotating machinery in centrifugal, PCP and Twin-Screw pumps.
• Preferable with knowledge in pump maintenance and service.
• Preferable with Sales and Marketing Specialization 
• Go-get attitude, strong communication skills, and willingness to take the challenges.
• Strong writing/speaking skills in English and Spanish.
• Customer oriented approach.
• Strong coordination and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated person with high work ethics.
• Percent of Travel Required: Less than 50%
  
  

SKILLS and KNOWLEDGES:

Education: BS Degree Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineer.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in similar or related position, in pumps market.

Travel: Domestic and International travel to customer’s installation and company factories or headquarter if required. (Aprox.50%)

Other Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• Preferable experience with rotating equipment, positive displacement pumps, rotary pumps, mechanical seals, electric motors, engines, instrumentation, and other pump accessories.
• Previous experience preparing proposals, understanding cost components and profit structure.
• Knowledge of Colombian Market, mainly in O&G, Chemical, Food, Power and W&WW.
• Demonstrated knowledge in hydraulics and customer specifications development.
• Knowledge in ANSI B73.1M, API-610, API-682 & API 676 last edition.
• Fluent in English is mandatory.
• Behaving ethically in business development, based on values ​​of respect, responsibility, and integrity.
• Self-starter and ability to recognize areas of improvement without specific direction.
• Team building success experience and sales channel strategy and tactical previous participation.
